You may want to sell them off or give them away, but if you haven’t used them in months or years, then you probably don’t need them. If you have papers that are piling up in a filing cabinet or box, why not scan them and burn or shred them? The fact is, most of the papers you keep around are no longer necessary. For many people, it’s more of a worry that they may need them in the future. If that’s the case, most paperwork can be scanned or photographed and then gotten rid of. Of course, there are some things to be kept, such as important papers and passports, etc. but you should do your best to get rid of the extra papers.
Release Your Obligations
How many pieces do you have in your home that you feel obligated to keep because they were gifts?
